We expected when we started that there would be a few problems that could be quickly sorted. Whilst the time to fix is averaging two hours, we are amazed at the sheer number of ways our customers are annoyed by their PCs. Here are some of the bizarre and unique problems encountered in the last week : - The sound had just disappeared and the owner couldn’t find out how to put it back. - A wireless mouse would work on any computer but the owners. - A broadband customer’s wireless network wouldn’t work but would work when connected by cable. - e-mail worked but Internet Explorer wouldn’t connect to any web site. |
